CO2 EMISSIONS
Reduction of short-term CO2 emissions through lower consumption of cement in concrete - considering that Metacaulim HP ULTRA generates up to 90% less CO2 than Ordinary Portland Cement - and especially in the long term, due to the reduction of maintenance and reconstruction.

USE OF REGIONAL MATERIALS
Metacaulim HP ULTRA controls expansive and harmful reactions of concrete and mortar, such as alkali-aggregate reaction, making it viable to use local and less appropriate materials that may cause such pathologies, whether it is cement or aggregates, and yet producing high quality concrete, thus reducing environmental impact from trucking down long-distance, high quality and often expensive materials.

USE OF INDUSTRIAL RESIDUE
Possibility of using industrial residue or residue from civil works, such as ceramics, glass, tires or foundry silica, among other materials used as aggregates or binders, and which may cause harmful reactions to concrete or mortar, which can be neutralized by Metacaulim HP ULTRA. |
